The following findings have been taken from the results of the Big Smoke Debate. The findings presented here are based on the 34,446 respondents who live and/or work in London.
A total of 78% of these respondents would like to see indoor public places in London becoming completely smokefree.
Almost three quarters (74%) of people who responded would support a law to make all workplaces smokefree.
A total of 86% of people who responded are bothered, to some extent, by tobacco smoke in public places, a majority (52%) are bothered 'a great deal'.
